Ryan Paevey rumored to be leaving General Hospital, Will Nathan West pay for betraying Faison?

Something is about to happen to Nathan West as actor Ryan Paevey is rumored to be leaving the show. 

The rumors have been flying that a significant character on ABC’s General Hospital would be killed off and now we know who it will most likely be. It has supposedly been confirmed by Daytime Confidential’s Jamey Giddens that Ryan Paevey is indeed exiting the soap soon. However, it is noted that this has not yet been officially confirmed by the actor or GH.

What does this mean for Naxie?

Nathan and Maxie, aka Naxie, are expecting their first child together. While this is supposed to be the happiest time in their lives, it has turned into quite a drama fest. Maxie is very troubled now that they found out that longtime villain, Cesar Faison, is really Nathan’s father. He is a dangerous man who would do anything to get what he wants.

Maxie is fretting about their situation and she has every reason to feel the way she does. The truth is now in print after Lulu wrote up the interview with Nathan as a way to bring Faison out of hiding. They are playing a dangerous game that could get Nathan killed.

Ryan Paevey’s exit

If this rumor does prove to be true, then there is a good chance that Nathan West will be a casualty in this ongoing story line. Faison also has another son who is proving to be just as evil as he is, which is why daddy is currently in hiding. While it has not yet been revealed, it is suspected that Peter August is Faison’s son, and the traitor as well.

There could be a twist coming, but all fingers are pointing to this new character as the bad guy who is deeply involved in the Jason/ Drew fiasco. Peter is pushing to get Nathan’s story out to bring Faison out of hiding and back to Port Charles. This all could end very badly for Nathan and Maxie.

Killed off or just off the radar for a while?

The question remains as to whether Nathan will actually die on air or just go missing for a while. According to SheKnows Soaps, Paevey has been busy filming movies for the Hallmark channel and this is supposedly why he has chosen to exit. In addition to acting, the 33-year-old hunk also makes his own jewelry and takes gorgeous photos which he sells on his website called Fortunate Wanderer. He has a lot going on.

If this exit rumor is true, it could mean that it is only temporary. Paevey may just want to take a leave for a bit to pursue other projects for now. His General Hospital character may just end up missing or presumed dead as is the way of soaps. Cesar Faison does not take betrayal lightly. Peter could just have his hand in Nathan’s ending as well.
