General Hospital spoilers: Valentine’s Day romance may be a little scarce in Port Charles this year

Romance may not be in the cards for some of the residents of Port Charles this year.

It’s Valentine’s Day, but cupid may be skipping over General Hospital this year. According to the previews for this week, there seems to be more heartbreak and shenanigans than romance in Port Charles. However, there may be a couple of cupid’s arrows that could make their way to his perfect targets.

Sonny and Carly reminisce

If anyone can conjure up a little romance on Valentine’s Day, it would be the PC mob boss with those cute dimples, right? General Hospital spoilers from She Knows Soaps says that Sonny and Carly will go down memory lane to help celebrate the day of love. Those two have had many rough patches along the way, but they are together now and happy as ever.

However, Carly is about to have her world shaken when she gets a troubled phone call. It will definitely mess up her romantic day with Sonny. Nelle Hayes wants Michael all to herself and in order to do that, she needs to get his meddling mother out of the way. She has a plan to give her a Valentine’s Day that she will never forget.

JaSam Valentine’s Day hookup?

Well, it does look like Sam and Jason will indeed be together for the romantic holiday. However, it is not what some may think. Jason is spending some time with Danny, but the little boy wakes up crying for his mama. What’s a daddy to do? He calls his mom, of course! Unfortunately, Sam and Drew have a romantic evening planned.

General Hospital spoilers hint that Sam will lay into Jason. She will probably assume that Jason called her to break up her time with Drew. She should know that Jason would never do something like that to hurt her. But then again, this is a brand new Sam we are talking about. Poor Danny may be caught in the middle.

Griff and Ava romance…or not

Ava is looking forward to her first Valentine’s Day with the handsome Griffin Munro. He sent her a bouquet of red roses on Tuesday’s episode and she is feeling good about things between them. Any romance at all in Port Charles?

While it sounds like romance may be scarce this year on General Hospital, there may be some hope after all. Being the romantic guy that we all know and love, Curtis will not let his girl Jordan spend the night at the PCPD working. The previews show that Jordan actually forgets what day it is. With the death of Nathan West fresh on her mind, Curtis is there to step it up.
