General Hospital will be celebrating their 14,000th episode this Friday
The ABC soap is hitting a milestone this week and are gearing up to celebrate.
It is no small feat to be able to say you have 14,000 episodes that have aired on television, but General Hospital will be reaching that milestone this coming Friday, February 23. The GH family is getting excited about it and have been sharing their excitement on social media already.
Gearing up for the big day
Since Friday marks an important day in soap history, word is out that General Hospital will be doing something special to celebrate. After all, this is quite an amazing accomplishment! Even the cast is coming out to play already.

A few fun photos have been sent out on Twitter on Sunday in an effort to get fans excited as well. One particular snapshot, and the first one posted, is sure to get their attention. Billy Miller and Kelly Monaco were caught in a behind-the-scenes photo putting on their biggest smiles. It looks like these two are just chilling with camera guy Craig Camou. This cute picture of ‘Killy’ is spreading like wildfire among General Hospital fans.

14,000 episode of General Hospital
This ever-popular soap made its debut on April 1, 1963. They will be celebrating 55 years on daytime TV this year, as well as their 14,000th episode. Being that they are now the only ABC soap on air these days, these milestones are extremely important to recognize.
What does GH have in store for this very special episode? Well, we will just have to wait to find out. Of course, there is bound to be a few hints here and there to tease viewers.
